This vintage of our Chardonnay opened with a nose of lychee, honeysuckle, and grapefruit zest, leading into a focused mid-palate of warm croissant, peach, and refreshing cool climate acidity.

NOW:

The wine is developing a wonderful color and hue. It has aged into a fuller palate with heavy flavors of bruised, honeyed caramel quince and very ripe stewed pears. On the finish, you will find great toasted oak, cacao, burnt toffee, and bitter chocolate. It offers sweetness and bitterness in almost equal proportion.
