2013 Sea Smoke 'Ten' Pinot Noir

THEN:

Upon release, the aromas began with notes of dried blueberries and fresh blackberries, then a myriad of spices, lavender, and black cherry. Its firm, mature tannins were followed by a long, velvety finish.

NOW:

Although still very youthful, with plenty of aging potential, the wine has become more complex since its release. Dark fruits have been supplemented with bruised, glacéed red fruits, lovely dried strawberry and cherry, pie spice, and leathery dried fruits with a touch of nuttiness. It is supple and juicy with immediately creamy tannins and a building intensity on the palate.
